Description of Program
Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU) employs 6 full time financial educators, and supplements these efforts with outside financial education partners, to provide what is arguably, the most comprehensive financial education program in the credit union industry.
BECU’s program includes:
- Financial Workshops available to BECU members on an bi-weekly basis on a variety of financial topics.
- Financial videos and webcasts available to members who prefer to learn online learning.
- A massive online financial content database including articles on virtually all financial topics written by BECU educators as well as outside financial education firms, searchable by financial topic.
Results
The program is so extensive that results are still being tabulated from the program’s inception over 10 years ago. However, an initial review of results has qualified BECU for recognition as a leader in financial education.
