Description of Program
Aetna offers personalized financial education to every single employee, through a wide variety of services all designed to help individuals achieve financial independence and security. Services include:
- In-person financial planning sessions at its Hartford Wellness Center, available to all employees who sign up. Phone appointments available for those located outside Hartford.
- Webcasts available to all employees on a variety of financial topics.
- An online financial planning center that provides each employee with a personalized financial assessment and financial education plan.
- Live workshops on different financial planning topics at Aetna locations across the country.
Results
- 93% of participants report making at least one major change to their finances with the average participant making three major changes. Most common changes include reducing debt, cutting expenses and increasing retirement plan contributions.
- 100% of employees would recommend the service to a friend or co-worker.
- 98% report they are better prepared to make a financial decision after going through the education.
