Are Games the Answer to Our Future Financial Literacy Problems?

A recent article by Heather Larson introduces 8 games that teach children and young adults about managing money and credit, but are financial games enough to teach the next generation about financial responsibility?  Games like Payday, Monopoly and Life have been around for years, and yet previous generations have failed to understand the simple idea of spending less than you make, or you’ll end up broke!  Is there really a substitute to parental guidance, or is this the way to reach a generation that is growing up on Xbox, Wii and PlayStation?
