In the wake of the recent national financial literacy survey by FINRA and the U.S. Department of Treasury, a national program has been created to challenge teachers and students boost their financial knowledge.
All U.S. high-school aged students are eligible to take part in the Challenge and Teachers, schools, school districts, home-school parents, and youth groups can register to participate in this free program.
The Challenge exam, “which is designed to illustrate the relevance of financial topics to students,” will be offered mid-March through April to assess the students’ learning.
In April, the top scoring students from each school will receive awards and a select group of outstanding schools and educators will be recognized.
